The three main tracks on "Soundtrack to a Documentary Movie" were created in December 2019 and were originally composed as the original soundtrack to the as of yet unreleased documentary movie by a friend. They all consist of mainly the same musical material and follow the same idea of a loop of uneven length. This loop happened by accident and, combined with the even nature of the harmonic changes, birthed a lot of interesting melodies and musical possibilities.
The two bonus tracks were produced in July 2020 exclusively for the bandcamp release and make use of the same musical material with different techniques and surroundings. They were created using cassette tape recorders and tape loops to further embrace the gridless, waivering character of the music.

"Soundtrack To A Documentary Movie" will be released digitally on July 31st on all major platforms. Preorder starts on July 21st on rasmuszschoch.bandcamp.com - 20% of the net income through bandcamp sales will be donated to ADEFRA (www.adefra.com).
